When I was in late high school and first hearing about this “webcomics” thing, one of the sites I remember visiting was atomictoy.org by artist Andy Helms. It had some interesting, if protracted, comics… I liked the art style and the sense of humor of OMFE in particular.

Well it turns out that every day since the end of this past October, Andy has been drawing dudes. He has been drawing one of these dudes every day, and posting them to his Dude-A-Day blog. He started out with some popular videogame characters, and since then has depicted dudes from films like Star Wars and Die Hard, comic book heroes and villains, and others. I particularly liked his interpretations of the Team Fortress 2 cast. Can’t wait to see the remaining months of dudes!
